Each printed piece of The Lightning Bug Collective has been made with a real plant or insect. The Insects used have naturally made their way through the circle of life and I was lucky enough to find them working in conservation or on a personal adventure.

Printed pieces of silver are meant to honor and show appreciation for their contribution to our ecosystem.

Prices of each item will fluctuate as the price of silver fluctuates.
Purchasing a piece from the The Lightning Bug Collective is an investment as it's a timeless piece that only increases in value.

Next Collection - Sunrise Serenity

Driving third shift on a road trip, taking an early morning walk with your dog, stepping outside after an all-nighter at work, or unzipping your tent to see the first light during a camping trip with friends—no matter how you meet the sunrise, let it be a moment of stillness. A quiet, mindful pause. A breath of fresh air. A feeling of grounding and tranquility.

I created the Sunrise Serenity collection as a reminder that each morning is a new beginning—an opportunity for adventure, renewal, and presence.

The gemstones featured in this collection were handpicked from a small gemstone shop along the coast of Oregon. You'll find a variety of Carnelian, Calcite, and—my personal favorite—Rhodonite.

The pieces in the Sunrise Serenity Collection will be first-come, first serve. Make sure to follow along on my Instagram page for progress updates!

Care Tips

1. Wear it Often

The natural oils on your skin help keep your silver polished.

2. Keep it Dry

Remove it when: bathing, swimming, & working out.

3. Store it Properly

Store your silver pieces separately in a cool, dry space to avoid scratching & tarnishing from moisture.

4. Clean Regularly

Use a silver-polishing cloth for a quick clean up or soak in a few drops of dish soap and warm water for 3 -5 minutes. Make to sure to pat it dry afterwards.

ABOUT ME

My name is Brooke Batha -  lover of all animals, a wild adventure, and good food. At 31 years old, nothing makes me feel more grounded than connecting with nature, and nothing fills my cup more than creating things.

I spent time working on a Natural Resources Management team, where I learned how to test water quality, manage invasive species, fell my first tree, and plant new ones. That experience made me realize how much I wanted to combine my love for the world with my love for making things.

That’s how The Lightning Bug Collective was created—named after one of my favorite childhood memories of catching lightning bugs at my grandparents’ house. Through this jewelry line, I create silver pieces that reflect our connection to the Earth and celebrate the quiet, everyday beauty of the world around us.
